Day 8: Las Vegas

Yesterday was, as Megan put it, the day of wonders. We started out at the natural wonder, the Grand Canyon, moved on to the engineering wonder, Hoover Dam, and ended up at the "I wonder what they were thinking" aka Las Vegas. All three were beautiful in their own right, each appealing to different parts of our psyche.

We stayed last night at the Excalibur right on the strip. Megan's favorite part of the hotel was the fact that we got to stay in a castle. But her favorite part of Vegas was definitely the Fountains of Bellagio (watch the end of Oceans 11 if you don't know what I'm talking about).
